Bio

Thanks for your interest in my biography. I’ll keep it brief! I was born and raised in Montreal. I’ve been a resident of the USA since 1993 so at this point in my life, I like to say I’m half Canadien, half American (soon to be citizen). Maybe that’s why I love half and half in my coffee.

When I’m not busy doing my portrait and event photography work, I love to spend time with my lovely wife and two amazing kids. I also love all outdoor sports and try to find time for those types of activities as often as possible. What do I want to do if I get to retire? Travel around the world! I’m been fortunate to travel extensively around Noth America and Europe so I definitely want to visit as many other continents as possible.

I’m one of the lucky few who has truly found his calling in life. I was born an artist at heart therefore when I’m “working”, I see it more as a labor of love. I began my photography career at eighteen while attending Dawson College, in Montreal. While taking evening courses to earn a degree in Commercial Photography, I worked for a local stock photo agency that was ultimately bought by an American company. Hence my move to New York. I photographed my first wedding at the age of eighteen with a Mamya RB67. This was a big medium format film camera that was really meant to be used in a studio but I pulled it off. My business has evolved and grown ever since by word of mouth.
