We are a boutique photography company specialized in lifestyle portraits and documenting special events such as weddings, milestones, parties and corporate events. Over the years, we’ve enjoyed creating portraits of families, children, bride and grooms, engaged couples, astronauts, chefs, corporate executives and politicians. In short, we don’t limit our opportunities. We love creating images that make a positive impact.
Weddings
As a boutique studio, we purposely chose to accept only a few wedding assignments every year (for the past 20 years) in order to provide a high level of service and give the attention each of these events deserves. And frankly speaking, we prefer to keep ourselves fresh and not be a ‘wedding photo factory”. We also try to balance our revenue streams; family portraits and events that are important to families.
That said, we are passionate about photographing weddings because each one is unique and provides endless opportunities to create special images that speak to the heart. We strive to document the day and let the images tell the story. We do art direct a little bit for requested portraits but we mainly act as photojournalists. We like to use the term “reportage”.

Lifestyle Portraits
We love doing portraits that make our subjects personality shine. And whether our subjects are infants, engaged couples, high school senior, a corporate executive, grandparents, puppies or horses, we do all our portraits on location.
We specialize in creating environmental style portraits by using the elements of the location (house, park, barn) or we bring the necessary backdrops and props to create studio style imagery based on our clients’ wishes and a little creative input from us. We adapt to the situation and make it work. Most importantly, our subjects are comfortable (in a familiar environment) and relaxed (no traveling to a noisy studio in a mall). Our service is nothing like your typical retail chain studio experience. And besides, they don’t let you bring your favorite horse to their studio anyway!
Animals
Anybody who knows Bernard personally knows that he has a special place in his heart for animals – specially dogs and horses. Before discovering his passion for photography, he dreamed of becoming a veterinarian. Destiny had a different plan. In recent years, he’s been lucky enough to be able to combine his passions to create images that capture the bond between humans and their favorite animal friends. Dogs and horses are his specialty but cats critters of all types are welcomed fun.

From lectures at Princeton University to formal portraits of corporate CEO’s, to politicians, we’re happy to wear a suit and tie to become your “Executive Image Makers”.
Stock Images
Much of Bernard’s career in the visual arts industry (over 20 years) has been intertwined with the licensing of stock images. His corporate jobs have all been related to either producing and sourcing stock images on behalf of ad agencies and large corporations for their marketing projects.
He has a clear understanding of the power stock images can have when they are well crafted and relevant. He maintains a large archive of stock images and therefore cannot publish all his work. We encourage you to contact us if you’re looking for stock photos that relate to people, animals and nature. If we don’t have it, Bernard will be happy to point you in the right direction to help you find what you’re looking for.
We mainly service North-Central New Jersey and New York City metropolitan area but we gladly accept assignments that require planes, trains and/or automobiles.
